Polyaspartic Ester Resin ZR5238

Polyaspartic ester resin ZR5238 is a solvent-free, high-solids, low-viscosity polyaspartic resin designed for the formulation of environmentally friendly, high-performance coatings. The resin allows coatings to be applied at very high solid contents, up to 100% solids, significantly reducing VOC emissions while maintaining excellent application performance.

  • Coatings formulated with ZR5238 produce a smooth, full, and highly glossy film with outstanding leveling and flow characteristics, ensuring superior surface appearance and finish quality.
  • The cured coating film has excellent overall durability, including superior weather resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance, and resistance to acids, alkalis, and salt spray.
  • ZR5238 provides high hardness combined with exceptional abrasion resistance, with an abrasion loss of ≤ 20 mg (500 revolutions / 750 g load).
  • The resin exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including plastics such as ABS, PC, and PVC, as well as various metal substrates.
  • The product has excellent compatibility with most hydroxyl acrylic resins, CAB, and similar materials.
