Polyaspartic ester resin ZR5116 is a high-performance, new-generation coating resin with an ultra-high solid content of up to 100% and low viscosity properties. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for the formulation of environmentally friendly low-VOC or solvent-free coatings.

  • ZR5116 has extremely high reactivity. When used in combination with NCO-terminated curing agents such as HDI trimer, the coating can achieve rapid surface drying, typically completing within 5 minutes.
  • The cured coating film formed with ZR5116 exhibits excellent flexibility, leveling properties, and gloss.
  • It provides excellent resistance to environmental and chemical exposure. The coating film demonstrates outstanding performance in weather resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance, salt spray resistance, etc.
  • Abrasion resistance is a key advantage of ZR5116. The coating has particularly low wear loss, with abrasion values of ≤20 mg (500 revolutions / 1000 g).
  • ZR5116 has excellent adhesion to various plastics such as ABS, PC, and PVC, as well as to multiple types of metal substrates.

  • Packaging: Available in 200 kg steel drums and 25 kg steel drums.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Keep away from fire sources, heat, and direct sunlight. Ensure containers remain tightly sealed. The storage area should be equipped with emergency spill handling equipment and appropriate containment materials.
  • Shelf Life: 12 months when sealed and stored as directed.
  • Note: Coatings made with this product should ideally be cured for one week before testing their performance.
  • Suitable for applications such as rapid-curing adhesives and bonding agents.
  • Can be used in heavy-duty protective and anti-corrosion coatings for steel structures, oil pipelines, and related infrastructure.
  • Applicable in road marking coatings and concrete repair or crack-filling materials.
  • Widely used in spray polyurea elastomer (SPUA) systems as a primary resin and chain extender.
